Politics is moving fast, but not so fast that people will forget the legacy of the last Tory-led government, which was propped up by the Lib Dems. The Lib Dems are not Tories – and it’s a mistake to categorise them as such. But the idea that they have a monopoly on real opposition to the Conservatives is laughable.
